Mrs Sumudu Godagama

Sumudu Godagama is a complementary practitioner with training in Osteopathy, Ayurvedic Medicine, Panchakarma Therapy, Reiki, Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. Sumudu grew up in the healing environment of her father’s busy Ayurvedic and Acupuncture clinics, which eventually led to an explorative interest into the nature and art of healing. She felt it was her path to seek out the knowledge and medical wisdom which allowed people to heal from within. She received her training at leading schools such as BCOM, LCTA, and with world experts such as the late Professor Anton Jayasuriya, Dr Pilapitiya and last but not least her master and mentor and father Dr Shantha Godagama, the Founder and President of The Ayurvedic Medical Association, UK, and author of “The Handbook of Ayurveda”.
Sumudu runs a successful Panchakarma Clinic, and following in her father’s steps, continues the art and traditions of Ayurveda, whereby the master’s knowledge and skill is passed down from one generation to the next. During consultation Sumudu explores the manacles, hindrances and blockages which limit your potential for wellbeing. Through inquiry into your history, lifestyle, diet, thought processes and acute and chronic stressors, your energetic Dosha constitution is revealed, from which stem the tailored and personalised methods used during Panchakarma.
Her passion for essential oils and natural ingredients, enables her to hand blend bespoke, sensual, nourishing formulas specific to the needs of her clients. Sumudu’s broad knowledge of Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine, adds depth and a unique sense of completeness to her Panchakarma and facial treatments. Sumudu also works as part of a dynamic medical team with her father to devise bespoke treatment plans which target today’s growing health issues.
